The Ngahere dredge return for the four weeks ended last Friday was 578 ounces from 174.509 yards worked in 447 hours. .The Slab Hut dredge re-commenc-ed work on Wednesday .aftei' being shut down for an extended overhaul. The Snowy River dredge return last week was 158 ounces from 45,000 yards of material,, secured in 256 hours’ dredging. The Grey River dredge return tor the clean-up period from April 26 to May 10 was 379.31 ounces from 158,853 yards of material secured in 259 hours’ dredging April totals were 715.31 ounces from 271,628 yards of material secured in 456 hours’ dredging.
