An Allied communique from Italy states: Medium forces of heavy bombers on Wednesday attacked an aircraft factoi'v and airfield at Wiener Neustadt. Other heavy . bombers bombed the rail centre of Knin. Heavy medium bombers on Wednesday mgnt attacked Budapest. At least thirteen enemy ’planes were destroyed in Wednesday’s operations Bomber claims are not yet evaluated and are not included in this figure. There are thirty-three Allied ’planes missing. The Mediterranean Air Force flew nearly two thousand sorties on Wednesday. About ten enemy ’planes were active in dayl ght over the Italian battle aiea.
