SOVIET SUPPORTERS v. UNDERGROUND FORCES
(Rec. 6.30) LONDON, April 29 Moscow radio says: Armed clashes are occurring between Polish patriots who are collaborating- uith Moscow and the underground Polish traitors who are obeying j-he orders from the emigre Polish Government in London. Poles who wanted to fight Germans at first supported the emigre Government until they saw the Government, was not organising on a large-scale against the Germans. These Poles will now haze nothing to do with the emigre Government. POLISH PRIEST RECEIVED BY STALIN. LONDON, April 29. The British United Press correspondent in Moscow says: The newspapers in the capital devote one-tmrd of their front pages to pictures showing M. Stalin and M. Molotov receiving Father Orlemanski. a Catholic Priest, from Springfield, Massachusettes, U.S.A., who announced his Intention of returning to America to launch a campaign for a democratic | Poland friendly to Russia, instead of the Polish Government in London. FINNISH DIPLOMATS SOVIET WISHES THEIR .REMOVAL FROM U.S.A. (Rec. 10.20) NEW YORK, April 29. The “New York Times’’ Moscow correspondent says: Concern is felt in Moscow about ucssibie danger to security of the Allies’ plans at this vital period by the continued presence in Washington of the accredited Finnish diplomatic mission. It Is felt that the break-down of negotiations between Moscow and Helsinki has shown the futility of continuing to regard the Finnish Government as capable of independent action, and that recent events demonstrated Finland to be in a subservient position to Berlin.
