Wellington T.C. CABIN' BOY’S WIN. WELLINGTON, April 29. Steady rain set in early this morning, but the track was in fair order for the concluding day of the Wellington Trotting Club’s meeting. Going to the front at barrier rise, Gallant Chief made the pace for the major portion .of the journey in the jWairarapa Hanq.icap, being attended by Loyal King, Watcher, Cabin Boy, and Mongolian. They maintained., that order right to the straight entrance, where Cabin Boy moved up on the outside of his opponents, with Safety Pin, which had come through along the rail a furlong earlier, to be handy to the leaders. Gallant Chief tired over the last two furlongs and Cabin Boy and Loyal King drew away, but the former always had the upper hand, winning in effortless fashion by a length from Loyal King, with Safety Pin holding on for third.
