Dickson, carrier, of Invercargill Under the Act, the Trust is to provide for the establishment of model hotels in the Invercargill licensing district to be conducted in conformity with the provisions of the Licensing Act, 1908, and in the interests ot tne public well being, and is also to provide for the sale of intoxicating liquor in the district, and for the distribution of the profits for public purposes. , . - Mr. Hugh Ritchie, who has been nominated by the Government as Chairman of the Trust, is well-known throughout Southland as the Director and Secretary of the Southland Building Society, one of the largest institutions of its kind in New Zealand. Mr. Anderson, newspaper linotype operator, is well-known in relation to patriotic organisations and activities in his district, and is also President of the Trades and Labour Council.
