Protest Meeting POLICE CALLED IN. (Rec. 9.10.1 LONDON, April 27. The police were called in to quell a disturbance which broke out during a meeting organised by the Jewish Socialist Labour Partv in a London hall. Angry members of the audience shouted down the speakers and also protested against the treatment of Jewish soldiers in Britain, and likewise against the Polish Government. Adam Ciolkosz opened his address with the words: "It is the duty Of everyone to stand bv the Jews in a time of oppression and persecution. This was the signal for angry protestations lasting tor several minutes. There were cries-. “That applies to this country 1” and “Release the sentenced Polish soldiers I” Many scuffles occurred, and several persons were ejected. _
