LEAGUE FOOTBALL

| A friendly League football match 'was played at Taylorville, yesterday, between teams representing the Wallsend and Dobson mines, the former winning by twenty points to eight. Though the first game to be played in the district this season, play was interesting, some bright passing movements being witnessed. F.or the Wallsend team tries were scored by R. Hobbs (2), Williams, Anderson, McGuiness and Hales, Williams converting one try. A. Bernard and T. Hoggarth scored for Dobson, Bernard converting a try.
