Becomes Law DESPITE PRESIDENT'S VETO LONDON, Feb. 25. The United States Senate to-day (Overrode by 72 "votes to 14 President Roosevelt’s veto of the Tax. Bill, (states a message from Washington. {The Bill now becomes law. i The President is at present out of iWashington, recovering from a recent attack of influenza. WASHINGTON, Feb. 25. The contraversial 2,315,000,000 million dollar Tax .Bill to-day became law, when the United States Senate over-rode the President’s veto of the Bill by 72 votes to 14. Senator A. W. Barkley adhered to his. announced intention to vote against the measure, which is the first Tax Bill ever to receive the Presidential veto.
