WEDDING
FISHER—DODD The marriage of Ngaire, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Dodd, South Beach, and Cyril L. younger son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Fisher, Runanga, took place at the Holy Trinity Church, Greymouth on Saturday. Rev. P. Kirkham officiated. The bride who was escorted .by father, wore a gown of mongolian satin, with veil and orange blossom, and carried a sheaf of cream gladioli and dahlias. The bridesmaid, Miss Mavis Hansen (Christchurch), was attired in an apricot tafPsta frock, and flower head-dress The flower girls, Miss Pamela Dodd, sister of the bride, and Miss Phylis Fisher, sister of the ’groom, wore frocks similar to the bridesmaid and carried flowers to tone. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. H. (Chub) Fisher. A guard of honour was formed 1 outside the church by the Ist., Greymouth Girl Guides to which organisation the bride had been attached for some years. The reception was held . at the home of the bride’s parents, after which Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Fisher left for their wedding trip by railcar, the bride wearing a marina blue costume with navy accessories.
