West Coast Tourney PAIRS MATCHES BEGUN The first four rounds of the pairs contest in the West Coast Bowling Centre’s annual tournament were played yesterday. The weather was overcast with occasional showers. The remaining three rounds .are set down for to-day. At the end of round seven any section ties will be played off. Section winners only will qualify for post-section play, which will begin to-morrow. Petonne (Nelson) in Section A, Ferguson (Greymouth) and Brunsden (Edgeware) in Section B, Kilgour (Greymouth) and Taylor (R-u--nanga) in Section C. Hoffman (Hokitika) .and Kay (Shirley) in Section D, and Moss (Greymouth) and Smith (Runanga) in Section E, all won all four games yesterday. In the following results the names of members of teams with clubs are given only in the first round, the name of the skin being given last in each case.
