I AUCKLAND GIRL’S RECORD. |F A AUCKLAND, Jan. 31. Miss Marie Pasalich, of Auckland University, Swimming Club, who won the 100 yards and 220 yards titles at the New Zealand Championships, made a successful attack upon the New Zealand 400 metres breaststroke record at the tepid baths. Her time iwas Gmin 53 2-ssecs, which was seventeen and three-fifth seconds . faster than the previous figures of 7min I Usees established by Miss W. Dunn, of Otago, in 1939.
