ORGANISED TRAPPING IN AUSTRALIA. (Rec. 9.10) CANBERRA, Jan. 6. Rabbit-trapping, for the carcases, will become a protected industry when the Australian meat rationing scheme comes into operation on January, 17. Rabbit meat will not be rationed, and thus it will supplement the meat to be obtained by coupons. In New South Wales rabbits are reported to be threatening food production over a wide area of the State, and the plans to organise rabbit trapping are , being welcomed.
