ENDS IN AUSTRALIA. VICTORIAN FUEL FAMINE AVERTED. SYDNEY, Dec. 22. The Australian seamen’s strike collaosed to-day, when the Melbourne. seamen decided to man the ships held up in that port. The Sydney and Newcastle seamen had already decided to end the strike. Urgently needed coal supplies are now on the wav to Victoria, where a gas famine and a shortage of fuel for war industries were threatened. ■
