REEFTON NOTES
[Our Own Correspondent], REEFTON, Dec. 22. Mr and Mrs A. Major left this morning to spend the holidays at Timaru. Mr Les Harris left by the rail-car to-day for Christchurch. \ Pte. D. Blackadder has arrived home on Christmas leave. Mr and Mrs Churstan and family were passengers for Dunedin to-day where they will spend the holidays. Miss Lois Osbourne arrived home th's evening for the holidays. Mrs R. Patterson and family leave for Greymouth to-morrow. Masters T. McMahon and J. Moyer of Wellington, are on a visit to Mrs J. Hunter. ; Mr and Mrs L. Storey leave tomorrow for a holiday in the Cheviot district. . . Mr R. Baker, of Westport, is staying with his aunt at Reefton. Through lack of advertising, tne concert staged on Friday evening by the Inangahua Junction Concert Party in aid of Reefton Patriotic funds drew a poor attendance or the public. The concert had previously been staged at Inangahua Junction and Ikamatua where n had packed audiences, and it was disappointing to the performers to have a lack of interest m their eff° Misses R E eft and M. Wicken returned from Christchurch last evening.
