RUGBY, Dec. 2. A Chungking message says that American bombers attacked Japanese shipping off the south-ea'st coast and in the Tungting Lake area on Mon. day. One vessel was probably sunk and 25 to 30 small boats were sunk. Tne enemy suffered heavy casualties. BURMA RAIDS. LONDON, Dec. 2. The R.A.F. attacked Burma every day in November and on 22 nights, despite unfavourable weather, states a Delhi message. Railway centres communications, and. river cratt were hit Five hundred river craft were destroyed or damaged and hundreds of’tons .of supplies were dropped for the forward troops. Coastal aircrai/ were active.
