Racing Notes

Riccarton Division: The following are the divisions for the Seymour Hack Handicap to be run at.Riccarton to-day:— First division: High Play, Last Bifort, Burberry, Mr Valiant, Riding Home, Solver, Langue d’Or, Saldowa, Croupier’s Pride, Hurry Home, Great Legend, Standby, Miss Clorane Good Caste, Prince Done, Whitley, Chellow Dene, Eddystone, Standto,’Scottish Lad. Second division: Banco, Fust in. Royal Rae, Hunting Charm Sn Win a, Renarde, Dash o Dink, Carnfnrth Wise Girl, Retriever, Gayfort, Full Chase, Vafort, Early Night, Olga’s Choice, Fluorescent, Peel Tower, Manakore. Rangitikei Prospect: At the Waikato meeting Radio Call endeavoured to make it an all the way win in his division of the Hack Cup ot one mile and three furlongs, and it was only in the last furlong that Raurimu and then Sir Ringman headed him. .With a furlong less to cover at Rangitikei to-day, Radio Call should go close to winning especially as the class does not seem to be as strong as that he encountered last time out. Likely Maiden: Golden Days ran a solid race to be just in behind the place-aetters at the Levin fixture. The Tiderace gelding has not been over-raced and his turn should come in one of the novice events. Class to Suit: The class of the Auckland Cup- Trial is just the right thing for Integrity. He can still win a mile and a quarter event and not incur a penalty for the Auckland CU Again out of Luck: Princess M.aritza was again unlucky at Forbury Park and with any luck at all tne Nelson Derby mare would have beaten Terry O’Shea. There is nothing much for her until the holiday racing commences, when she should, pav to follow wherever she is prodUToo Far: The N.Z. Derby proved too far for Burberry. The distance of the Seymour Hack run at Riccarton to-day should suit him much better, and he may be one of the hardest to beat. Got Bad Run: After getting into a lot of trouble in the early running, Tavern Light seemed very unlucky not io beat Invincible and Rockery in the Middleton Handicap at R’iccarton last Saturday. He is engaged in a similar type of event to-day, also the Otaio Plate. He is certain Io be well backed in which ever race is selected "for him. . An Improver: Social Climber is improving a* each start. She won the second division of the maiden at the Levin meeting very easily, running through to the front when called upon, to win easing up by two lengths. The Posterity mare sticks on particularly well and. she should set some of the money in the Ona’ kea Hack at Rangitikei to-day. Auckland R.C. CLASSICS AT SUM'MER MEETING. P.A. AUCKLAND, Dec. 3.
