[Our Own Correspondent ] REEFTON. Oct. 24. I Mr. J. Fielding is paying a visit to Greymouth. . . * Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Floyd, of Christ/church are visiting their daughter I Mrs. R. Hobbs. A.C. Pat Floyd is here on leave from an air station. Miss S. Morris has returned irom Wellington where she has been visiting her sister. Mr. C. D. Doyle left yesterday oy rail-car for Christchurch. Miss M. Leggoe is on a visit to her sister Mrs. B. Wade. , Mr. and Mrs. W. J. August and Mr. and Mrs. G. Crossman have lei’C for Westport to take part in the golf tournament. On Saturday afternoon citizens gathered at the County Chambers to farewell Privates M. A. Bolitho and Reg. Mori prior to their returning to camp. Parcels of comforts were received by both soldiers from the local Patriotic Committee. The Reefton Library Committee have again cause to complain about the disappearance of papers and magazines from the Library. For a number of years children have been blamed for the offence, but on these occasions it has been the work of adults. The officials are keen to put a stop to this practice and the offenders caught will be made an example of.
