U.S. NEGRO SOLDIERS
■ COURTMARTIAL IN ENGLAND. (Rec. 7.35.) LONDON, Oct. 17. U.S. Army officers on Saturday conducted the'courtmartial at. Paignton hi Devon, on fourteen coloured soldiers, who were charged with mutiny, with shooting with intent to murder two American police sergeants and others in the square of the town, with rioting and unlawfully taking firearms and with making inflammatory statements on September ~6. After the officers had considered the evidence, the President of the Courtmartial stated that it £ a d decided not to announce the findings.
