REQUIEM AT WELLINGTON. P.A. WELLINGTON, July 16. Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of the late General Sikorski, Prime Minister of Poland and Com-mander-in-Chief of the Polish Forces, who recently with his daughter and staff was killed in a plane off Portugal. when returning to Britain, was to-day celebrated in Wellington. The Mass was celebrated in the Church of St. Mary of the Angels, Buckle Street. His Grace Archbishop O’S'hea presided in the sanctuary. The celebrant was the Very Rev. Father Blake, S.M. Amongst those present were the Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, and members of the 1 Cabinet. The Governor-General was represented by Major C. J. Holland-Martin, anti the heads of the three fighting services were also represented.
