The following N.Z. airmen serving overseas are reported as casualties. - . Seriously ill. admitted to hospital - Anstey, Flight Lieut. William lan. R.A.F., Timaru. ’
Killed on active service: Piercy, Pilot Ofiicer Frank Alexander, Riverton
Confirmed prisoners of war: Millar, Flying Officer Ronald David, of Wellington; Reid, Sergeant Ronald James, of Wellington; Tosswill, Pilot Officer John Terrence, R.A.F., of Auckland. Removed from seriously ill list: Broun, Flight Sergeant Ronald Richmond, Auckland; Roberts. L.A.C. Maxwell Gray, Christchurch
Previously reported missing, death now officially presumed: Elliott. Sergeant Max Hilton, Wanganui; Park. Pilot Officer Nigel Manfred, Gisborne!.
Previously reported missing, now missing believed killed: Griffiths. Sergeant Ivor, Huntly; Macerlich, Sergeant William, James, Hastings. Previously reported missing believed killed, death now officillv presumed: Logan, Flying Officer James Allan, Hastings.
