BIG SALE OF ARMY VEHICLES. F a. DUNEDIN, July 15. Eighty-one used Army vehicles were sold yesterday at theA.l my i e cention depot, and realised £25,000. Tire buyers were transport operatois, coal merchants and farmers. SEAMAN DROWNED. _ TTMARU, July 14. Ronald Flaherty, single, aged 41 years, an able seaman was drowned in the Timaru Harbour to-day, when he fell from the gangway of a' ship. Flaherty fell between the boat and the wharf, and his body was later recovered by a member of the crew and a police constable.
