NORWEGIANS PROTEST
GIRLS FOR GERMAN LABOUR SERVICE. LONDON, June 30. The Stockholm “Aftonbladet” says that Norwegian parents and clergy are energetically! protesting against the conscription of seventeen-year old girls for German labour service. A priest, speaking at a meeting, said “we know nothing of conditions tor girls in labour camps and have no guarantees. While I am aware of my responsibility in voicing an opinion I feel compelled to do so.”
