U-BOAT CREWS

BECOMING “FED UP.” (Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON, June 25. The British United Press Stockholm correspondent says: According to a report reaching responsible Norwegians, a iconsiderable number or U-boat officers and other ranks re-

cently arrived at a military prison at Oslo. They are members of six Üboat crews who refused to put to sea. A British United Press naval correspondent say«s: Reports have been received in British quarters recently of a lessening fighting spirit among U-boat crews. Some of the latest U-boat prisoners have been dejected, though relieved to be out of the Battle of the Atlantic. Bluster and overwhelming confidence characteristic of earlier U-boat crews, which mainly consisted of young Nazis, is disappearing.
