BRITISH EXPLOSIVE WORKERS.

RUGBY, June 20. The reduction of cases of T.N.T. poisoning (among explosive workers to less than a quarter of those of the last war. was mentioned by Mr. Duncan Sandyfs. Joint Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Supply. He also ‘said that the number of cases of serious dermatitis had been reduced by two-thirds in the past twelve months. The war had given great impetus to the importance- oi health in industry. One of the subiects on which education was most needed was nutrition. Wide ? spread appreciation of the benefits oi a sound balanced diet could, perhaps more quickly than any other factor, increase the health and vitality of the industrial population He believed that the study of industrial conditions in relation to health would after the war, receive greater attention than ever before.
