FIVE SURVIVORS
FROM DOUGLAS AIR LINER RESCUED BY SPANIARDS. LONDON, June 3. Quoting a message from Madrid the Rome radio stated that a Spanish fishing boat in the Bay of Biscay picked up five survivors from a rubber lifeboat, which it claimed were members of the crew of the air' liner shot down on June. 1. The members of the crew of the air-liner were Dutchmen, including the first pilot, Captian Quirinis Pepas.
