Premier Royal FQRBURY PARK CLUB’S ACTION ENDORSED. CHRISTCHURCH,'June '4. A letter from the Forbury Park Trotting Club read at to-night’s meeting of the ‘Board of the New Zealand Trotting Association gave the reasons why the club had not allowed the horse Premier Royal to start at its meeting last month. B. C. Lee. of T’imaru, the owner, had told the committee, that subject to confirmation by the Trotting Association, he had sold Premier Royal to A. Wyberg, the manager of his hotel. He (Lee) had not accepted for the horse. This had been done by the trainer, W. R. Butt. The action of the club was endorsed.

A letter from Lee, giving his reasons for selling Premier Royal, said that publicity in the newspapers and innuendoes in circulation had materially affected his business. He would have no interest in the horse if the Trotting Association confirmed the transfer.
