MISSING AIRCRAFT
DEATHS OF CREW PRESUMED.
WELLINGTON, May 20. Advice from the Air Department, Wellington, states that the deaths oi i the following R.N.Z.A.F. personnel have been officially presumed as having occurred on October 23, 1942: ■Pilot Officer Rodney George Dandy, WellingiDn; Sergeant Edward Reid Dodson, Nelson; Sergeant Graham MacLeod Martin, Christchurch; Ser-o-eant Douglas Gordon Martyn, Waihi. The above-named men represent the crew of an aircraft reported missing from a North Island air station on the date above mentioned. Despite an extensive search no trace of : the aircraft or its occupants has been ' found.
