N.Z. DELEGATES TAKE ACTIVE PART. [Aust. &■ N.Z. Cable Assn.] (Rec. 10.0.) WASHINGTON.. May 20. The .New Zealand Delegation was among the most active at the Food conference at Hot Springs. Mr. Duncan was appointed chairman of a sub-committee dealing with the improvement of agricultural, marketing, processing, and distribution. The New Zealand Delegation presented a memorandum outlining the possibilities and limitations of the conference, stating New Zealand’s success in guaranteeing prices in order to save farmers from periodical slumps. The memorandum is described as one of the most interesting so far.. Many delegates ’have shown keen interest in New Zealand’s proved methods ot Government grading, instruction, and inspection of farm products, and the development of dairy co-operative companies.
