NOTICE is hereby given that the NINETY-FOUR ANNUAL MEETING of the members of the Societywill be held in the Society’s Head Office Building, 87 Pitt Street, Sydney, at 2.15 o’clock in the afternoon of Friday, June 18, 1943, for the purpose of:— 1. Receiving the Report of the Directors on the Business of the Society for the year ended December 31, 1942. 2. Receiving the declaration of the result of the Election of Directors. 3. Electing an Auditor in lieu of Mr Milton F. Johnson (F.C.A.), Aust., who retires in terms of By-law 83 and is eligible for reelection. By-law 83 (c) provides that no member other than a retiring Auditor shall be eligible for election as Auditor unless notice in writing of his candidature shall have been given to the Society at least 30 days previous to the Annual Meeting. NOTICE is also hereby given that a Ballot for the Election of Two Directors will be held at each Office and at the Fiji Agency of the Society on Monday, May 31, 1943, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The Directors due to retire in terms of By-law 55 are:— JOHN HUBERT FRASER FAIRFAX, ESQ., and SEPTIMUS GODOLPHIN ROWE, ESQ. Both the retiring Directors are candi-, ' ’ ’ "dates for're-election.’ The following members have also given the requisite notice that they are candidates: — COLIN MILLMAN ASHTON ESQ., JOHN EDWARD GARVAN ESQ. and HUGH STOWELL HARVEY ESQ. Any member may vote personally at the Ballot at the Branch or District Office at which his premiums ■ are payable or by signing and forwarding to such Office before the Ballot closes a Voting Paper obtainable on application. Any member whose premiums are payable at the Fiji Agency may vote there either personally or by post; •and one whose premiums are payable at any other Agency (as distinct from a Branch or District Office) may so vote at the Head or Branch Office at which his Policy is Registered. Under By-law 57 (f) Powers of Attorney must be produced 48 hours before the opening of the Ballot at the Head or Branch Office at which the member’s policy is registered and not at District Offices.
