. LONDON, April 6. The Paris radio reports that the German birthrate is shown by official statistics recording the number of live births in 1943 as 1,240,000 or 290,000 fewer than in 1941. ■'•The Times’s” correspondent on the German frontier says: I’liis means that almost the whole increase achieved by pressure under Hitler's regime has been lost.
