INDUSTRIES AND PORTS AFFECTED. (Rec. 10.30) WASHINGTON, April 1. Rear Admiral Harold Train, Chief of Naval Intelligence, declared that a network of German and Japanese spies has been spread around American industrial centres and ports. He added that'a large number of spies have been apprehended before they could, transmit information abroad but that aii undetermined number are still operating.
