MEETING OF MARIST CLUB. At the annual meeting of the Marist Rugby League Club, presided over by Mr. J. Griffin, the following officers were elected: — Patron, Rev. Fr. Gregory (re-elected); president, Mr, J. Gilbert; vice-presidents, Bro. Channel, Mr. W. Gilbert and Mr. C. Mcßride; secretary, Mr. W. P. Moore (re-elected); treasurer. Mr T. Power; committee, Messrs M. Power, P. Coll, K. Roll, C. Mcßride, P. Costelloe, E. Foster, J. Griffin; club-captain, Mr. A. Beban, junr. (re-elected); auditor, Rev. Bro. Tarcisius (re-elected). Social committee: K. Coll, P. Coll, T. Power, M. Power. C. Mcßride, J. Gilbert, N. . Mann, D. Watson, J. Stokes. Referees were nominated as follows: Messrs J. Griffin, C, O’Connor, P. Sweetman, B. Casey, D. Moore, H. Bassett. A motion e.f appreciation was recorded of Mr. J. Griffin’s valuable work. Motions of sympathy were passed with the relatives of Pat. Ryan, a former member of the club, killed on active service and Mr. W. Reddmgton and Mr. G. Merriman, supporters of the club. The annual report and balancesheet were received as satisfactory.
