A PRIZE TO FIGHT FOR

There can be no better way of grasping the moral initiative in this war than for Great Britain to adopt a great measure of social reform which will give reality to the speeches with which statesmen have attempted to hearten the people. Think of the effect on the spirit of our meh and women in all the Services if the message reached them that in the midst of war Parliament passes a measure which makes, it certain that never again in Britain need anyone fear the consequences of ill-health, unemployment or old age. It would give our fighters an invincible moral re-arrriarfient and it would put Great Britain once more in the forefront of civilised mankind. It is a prize to stin us to action, and it now lies within our reach. —Tribune.
