NEW PUBLICATION

Tramway Workers’ Journal The Editorial Board of the Magazine Page acknowledges receipt of issue Number One. of the "N.Z. Tramway Workers’ Journal.” We offer our congratulations to those responsible for the initiation of another trade union publication in this country, and express our confidence that it will be the means of bringing new strength to the/Unidn. The main feature in this first issue was, in our opinion, the forceful and inspiring messages submitted to the Union members by the National Officers—Messrs F. Hackett, W. B. Richards and P. A. Hansen. After reading these we are satisfied that the “Journal” will be a useful acquisition to the few progressive publications appearing in New Zealand to-day. We wish the “Journal” and its sponsors every success, and hope the time is not far distant when it ..will be possible to increase its size, with a more frequent appearance, which is the aim of the Union National Executive. —Editorial Board.
