FAMOUS TRAINER'S DEATH. (Rec. 7.55.) LONDON, March 24. Alex Taylor, whose skill as a racehorse trainer earned him the title “The Wizard of Manston,” who died on January at the age of eighty years left £595,790. The late Mr. Taylor, from 1899 to 1927, trained over nine hundred winners, netting over eight hundred thousand sterling in prize money. He won all of the classics, including three Derbies. Mr. Taylor was not a big betting man. He was never known to bet more than £25. Mr. Taylor bequeathed £20,000 each to the' R.A.F. Benevolent Fund, the Royal Veterinary College, and the -Royal Agricultural Benevolent .Institution..
