WEST COAST TOURNAMENT There was no play in the West Coast croquet tournament yesterday morning because of the state of the greens. Play was resumed after lunch. Results:— Championship Singles. First round, first, life: Mrs Penn defeated Mrs Wicks 26/7, Mrs Whibley defeated Mrs E. Moss 26/6. Second life: Mrs McCracken defeated Mrs Wicks 26/10, Mrs Hannan defeated Mrs Penn 26/9, Mrs Nottle defeated Mrs E. Moss 26/14. Second round, second life: Mrs Whflbley defeated Mrs McCracken 26/21, Mrs Pepper defeated Mrs Gilbert 26/15. Handicap Singles. (Over Six Bisques). First round: Mrs O’Rourke defeated Mrs Chivers 26/24. Handicap Doubles. First round: Mrs A. Warnes and Mrs Owen defeated Mrs Howard and Mrs E. McNish 26/24.
