NAZI CONSPIRACY
UNCOVERED IN BRAZIL.
RIO DE JANEIRO, Feb. 13
'The discovery, of a Nazi conspiracy, 'involving Brazilian Army officers, soldiers, civilians and Lutheran Church officials is announced by the Brazilian authorities. All the conspirators have been gaoled. The plot included a vast conspiratorial organisation which penetrated the Army and urged soldiers to desert and shoot down Brazilians in the event of an invasion. Many military personnel allegedly stole arms and ammunition from Government depots and secreted them for the revolutionaries. The Nazis established night encampments for training redruits. The conspirators possessed det ailed plans and military establishments and vital utilities near Cruzalta in the State of Rio Grande Dosul, where the conspiracy was centred.
