CHARGE OF THEFT

Army Department Clerk AND EIGHT OTHER MEN. P.A. “DUNEDIN, Jan. 26. Charged with the theft of £27, the property of the New Zealand Government. John Gavin Mclntyre, employed in the Army Department appeared before Mr. H. W. Bundle, S’.M. in the Police Court this morning. On the application of Detective Sergeant Hall, Mclntyre was remanded until Friday. Sergeant Hall said that the circumstances were similar to those involved in the charges against eight other men, who were before the court on Monday. Bail was allowed in the sum of £25, with one surety of a similar amount. *
