Surprise follows surprise in the rollcking story which presents a young radio singer turned tourist guide, who takes a wealthy widow and her three beautiful nieces to Honolulu. There he meets the girl, who urges him to renew his efforts to become a radio star. Climax of the whirlwind story comes at a gala Hawaiian luau. where boy, girl and their beautiful pals are assured of a stellar radio career. Jane Frazee, the Merry Macs, Leon Errol, and Mischa Auer, having the principal roles, with Johnny Downs, Sunnie O’Rea and Mana Montez, in strong support. “CROOKS TOUR.” A plot to sabotage Europe's oil supply is the basis of the delightful provocative film entertainment “Crooks Tour” now showing’ at the Opera House. Basil Radford and Naunton Wayne of ‘‘Night Train to Munich” fame again play the part of two fabulous cricket enthusiasts, who through no fault of their own become entangled in a German spy net, which take them through manv mysterious adventures, but which provides comedy, chills, and chuckles, to picture goers.
