IMPORTANT PACIFIC OFFICERS.
(Rec. 12.30) WASHINGTON, Jan. 24. The U.S. Navy has announced that Rear-Admiral Robert English, Commander of the Pacific Fleet Submarine Force, and also nine other important naval officers m the Pacific area, in addition to a Navy Nurse are among nineteen person® aboard a naval plane that is missing on a flight between Pearl Harbour and San Francisco. Radio contact abruptly stopped as the plane circled the San Francisco Bay area, groping in a fog for a place to land. _ . An intensive sea and air .search has thus far proved unavailing. ANOTHER PLANE MISSING 15 ON BOARD. NEW YORK, Jan. 24. Lima rescue parties lave plunged into the mountains of Southern Peru seeking for a plane that is missing bellween Santiago and nima with 15 aboard, including two British diplomatic service officers.
