GREY SURF CLUB

Yesterday, Blaketown beach was well patronised by swimmers. fhe > Grey. Surf Club patrolled the beach* as usual, and practice was carried out during the afternoon. The recent fine weather and a favourable sea have made the beach again a popular resort, but the bathers are warned of 'going out too far,, as was the case with a few people yesterday. As many members are serving with the Armed Forces, the Club finds it hard to maintain control of the beach, and bathers for their own safety, are asked to cooperate with the Club, and not to take unnecessary risks.
