RESTRICTIONS EXTENDED (Rec. 9.45) WASHINGTON', Jan. 7. All pleasure motorin'? and nonessential motoring has_been banned, as from to-dav, in seventeen of the Eastern States of America, and the district of Columbia by the Price Administrator, Mr L. Henderson. Pleasure driving will be interpreted broadly. When a police officer questions a motorist who is believed to be committing a breach of the new regulations, the burden of proof will rest wholly on the motorist.
