’(Rec. 11.20.) SYDNEY, N0v.25 The Commonwealth League of Returned Servicemen, at its annual Congress, affirmed its belief in the principle of the total conscription 0manpower, of wealth and national resources. The Congress, bv a narrow margin, decided that the Government should be asked to declare that Commonwealth military forces should not be limited to the Australian mandated territories, but should he available for the defence of the United Nations if they were required.
