To Defend Dominion PROPOSED BY LABOURERS’ FEDERATION . P.A. WANGANUI, November 26., The New Zealand Federated Labourers and Related Industrial Association of Workers carried the following remit at its conference in Wanganui, to-day: “That representations be made tp the Government to urge that the New Zealand Division, which has served so magnificently overseas, be. if possible, returned to New Zealand in view of the threats being made to our own shores; and, also, additional reinforcements that are available in the Middle East. “Further, that should it not be militarily practicable to return the New Zealand Division, the Government be approached to arrange that the soldiers who have been overseas for almost three years be relieved, in drafts, for a spell in New Zealand.”
