WAR ITEMS
LONDON, Nov. 22. The Ministry of Aircraft Production (Mr Llewellyn) told aircraft workers to-day, that during 1942 Britain had trebled her heavy bomber output. He added: Only the night before last the Stirlings which you produced took part with effect in the biggest raid yet made on Italy. These bombers, whether Stirlings, Lancasters, Halifaxes, or Wellingtons, are doing great damage to vital factories and all imnortant railways, both in Italy and Germany. We have many reports from the latter country telling of the immense damage done and the effect on morale.
