The second day of the Greymouth Trotting Club’s spring meeting will be held tq-day at Victoria Park, the track is in good order, and, provided the weather holds, a very successlul meeting is promised. Accident Inquiry LAST MONDAY’S MEETING The inquiry into the accident which occurred in the Dasn Handicap on the first day of the Greymouth Trotting Club’s meeting last Monday was concluded last evening after evidence had been taken, including that of F. C. Walker, one- of the injured drivers: The decision was: “The evidence establishes that Mighty was tiring, and in endeavouring to hold his position, stumbled and fell, and such falling was not caused by contact with any other competitor."
