BRUNNER NOTES

(Our Own Correspondent). Mr T. Harper presided over a good attendance at a general meeting of the Brunner Returned Services Association, held on Saturday evening. Tributes were raid to the President of G.R.S.A., also to a well-known Brunner boy, who gave his life for his country, members standing in silence. Several matters of importance to returned men were discussed. A recommendation is to be made to the “Review” editor, suggesting that a page be allotted to Imperial ex-ser-vicemen. The branch (approved of the executive’s decision re. subscriptions for memorial plaque. A farewell is to be extended on Saturday to a member who- is leaving the district on service.
