REPORTED ALLIED PLANS. ENEMY’S REINFORCEMENTS. (Rec. 9.20.1 NEW YORK, Oct. 19. The United Press of America’s Chungking correspondent says: General Lo Choying. Commander of the Chinese Expeditionary Force in India, General Stillwell, General Auchinleck and General Wavell are engaged’ in conferences. It is believed these are connected with Allied plans for the recapture of Burma. The Japanese are reported to have transferred to Burma an undetermined number of their troops from Malaya.
