Raymond John Watts, 28, Air Force Sergeant, formerly a buyer for Woolworth’s (New Zealand), Ltd., who had pleaded not guilty at the Magistrate’s Court, to ten. charges of theft, tercharges of failure to account, one charge of forgery, and one charge under the Secret Commissions Act, today, in the Supreme Court, reversed the plea, and was sentenced by Judge Elair to terms of imprisonment amounting to three years and three months. The amount involved in the charges exceeded £16,000.
