RUGBY. August 18. A Venezeulan Deputy, Doctor Manuel Vicente Timoco, recently arrived in Britain on a special mission from the President of Venezuela. Ho is the youngest member of the Chamber of Deputies, and an official of the Ministry of Finance. He brought a message from the Venezuelan Parliament to the House ol Cominons. The first issue of “Britunaski Soyuznik” (British Ally) illustrated weekly newspaper published in Russia by the Press Department of the Brit’sn Embassy in Kuibishev has appeared. It will present all aspects of the British war effort.
